NOTICE OF POLL
BURKE SHIRE COUNCIL
I, Craig Turnour, Returning Officer, notify that the candidates named
in Schedule 1 have been duly nominated for election to the offices of the
above local government as indicated and that a poll for election to the
said offices will be conducted by postal ballot. Voting is compulsory.
Voting by postal ballot will close at 6.00 pm on the 25th
day of March 2000.
Application forms for electoral visitor voting and declaration voting
can be obtained from the Returning Officer. Applications must be received
by 6.00 pm on Thursday, 23rd March 2000
Further information about eligibility for declaration voting can be
obtained from the Returning Officer.
